who is coaching for?

People usually come to coaching because they’re dissatisfied with some aspect of their life and want to make it better. Other times people are just feeling a little bit lost and lacking direction or are just feeling like something’s missing in life or that there’s got to be more to it than what they’re experiencing at the moment. Many times people come to coaching knowing exactly what they want to change in their lives, and use coaching simpy to make sure it happens.

In short, you don’t have to be going off the rails to have a coach! Nor do you have to be an ambitious success-junkie either. All you need is to want something more, better, different or new in your life and have the willingness to do something to get it.

If you’re asking yourself whether you actually ‘need’ coaching, the answer is no. No-one needs coaching. Having said that, when you have a coach on your side, things do seem to be a lot easier and happen a lot faster. Large pay-offs can come from just small amounts of consistent focus on areas and aspects that we normally wouldn't even think to give focus to.

There is a rapidly increasing number of people in the world (including coaches themselves) who now wouldn't consider not having a coach, even if only on a monthly or quarterly basis. The process of coaching is one which continually helps you to see new perspectives and possibilities and ensures that you direct your focus on the areas that really count. Gradually, you get to a stage where you realise life and work really do just keep getting better and that there’s no ceiling on how enjoyable, rewarding or happy life and work can be.
