Dr Kerryn Griffiths is best known in the coaching industry as the founding leader and global coordinator of Contra Coaching, an online community where coaches coach coaches, without the exchange of money. Through Contra Coaching, Kerryn has coached coaches for years and is intimately acquainted with the challenges coaches experience in business. As a result, Kerryn has also developed a suite of online services, Coach Web Kit, aimed at keeping coaches in coaching. Kerryn Griffiths first trained as a coach in 2002 and has been coaching professionally for the past six years. In 2008 she completed a PhD in the field through the Centre for Learning Innovation at the Queensland University of Technology. Her thesis explains the learning processes underpinning coaching and she has published a series of papers in international academic journals. Kerryn Griffiths also holds a BEd, BA, a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and Small Business Management and a Graduate Diploma in Research Commercialisation. Originally a teacher, Kerryn acted in staff development, advisory and liaison roles in infants, primary and secondary schools in both the UK and Australia and also wrote and delivered educational programs for private companies.
