about Kerryn

A leader in the coaching industry, Dr Kerryn Griffiths is best known as the founder and global coordinator of ReciproCoach (formerly Contra Coaching), a worldwide community where coaches coach coaches, without the exchange of money. Kerryn is also a board member for the International Association of Coaching.

Kerryn Griffiths first trained as a coach in 2002 and has been coaching professionally for the past six years. In 2008 she completed a PhD in the field through the Centre for Learning Innovation at the Queensland University of Technology. Her thesis explains the learning processes underpinning coaching and she has published a series of papers in international academic journals (see below).

Kerryn co-hosts regular SELF-retreats in the Gold Coast Hinterland. In a tranquil setting, she and her partner hold a space for people to take timeout for theirSELF and enjoy the effortless benefits that come from being well-rested and well-nurtured, with plenty of time for personal reflection.

Kerryn Griffiths also holds a BEd, BA, a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and Small Business Management and a Graduate Diploma in Research Commercialisation. Originally a teacher, Kerryn acted in staff development, advisory and liaison roles in infants, primary and secondary schools in both the UK and Australia and also wrote and delivered educational programs for private companies.
